Canon 5D DSLR Announced

It’s official. Later this year, the first semi-affordable full-frame DSLR is landing on earth. With a planned retail of around 3000 bucks, the 5D will shoot full frame, 13 megapixel images. Its body will be about the size of the 20D, and much less bulky then the current huge and uber-expensive 1Ds series cameras. The full-frame ratio means that standard lenses can be used at their intended focal length - with no magnification factor. This is going to be a great new tool for the stock, editorial, wedding, and hardcore consumer photography segments. Better start saving now! Check out the preview on luminous landscape.
