Critical Mass busted again!

Critical Mass busted

Sometimes, I feel like I live on another planet. A planet where NYC cops - faced with challenges from international terrorists, ruthless drug dealers, and homocidal maniacs - would simply not have the time to arrest and detain a few dozen teachers, messengers, and normal citizens for simply riding in a monthly bicycle meeting. But it seems like they have a lot of idle time on their hands - and a ton of extra manpower. Using scooters, cars, SUV’s, and paddy wagons, they managed to snare 34 bicycle-riding public enemies tonight. I feel great that my hard-earned tax dollars are really being spent where they’re most needed. Sorry for the bitterness, it’s just sad to see something so pure and joyful be turned into a public shame and spectacle. How did things get this bad? Read more to see.

If you’ve never seen his work, then get on it - because Tod is an amazing photographer and really knows how to deal damage with a Hasselblad. Check out his main site, his everyday site, and his “Suckapants” blog.

Okay, so David Berman is not exactly famous. But he didn’t sell out either - did he?

Neckface / Satans Bride

Neckface Satan\'s Bride

This kid has been around for a while and is currently doing the whole international gallery & boutique scene. You may recognize his demon/vampire scrawlings around town. Half the time, he just seems to write “Neckface” in fairly plain letters - which isn’t knocking anyone’s socks off. But sometimes, he does amazing work like that van you see above. He’s got a Fotolog, pay him a visit sometime.

From amateurs to auteurs, professionals to your grandpa Ernie who still loves that old Leica, giving them all a chance to see what they can see in one hundred different ways.”
